Line clearance is one of the most compliance-critical procedures in medical device manufacturing.
Before a new batch begins, operators must confirm the line is clear of the previous product, components and documentation. An oversight can lead to regulatory findings, recalls or risk to patients.

Mersus built an immersive cleanroom on Avatar Academy where operators handle virtual equipment with their own hands, with no controllers.
Training runs in three modes: Explainer, Practice and Exam.
The simulation mirrors Boston Scientific’s Manufacturing Execution System workflows, so operators practise the decisions as well as the physical steps, as often as they need.
