Hands‑on VR training course that teaches your people how to identify the right extinguisher, follow the correct procedure, and put out a fire with confidence without any real flames, smoke, or danger.
Your team learns by doing. They face realistic fires and must choose the correct extinguisher and respond appropriately under pressure. Every skill they practice in VR transfers directly to your workplace.
“It’s perfect because it was like being in the room — actually putting the fire out. I wanted to pick up the extinguisher. I could feel myself leaning in over the bin. You’re still getting a little adrenaline rush even with the VR set on. You do feel like you’re really present and you’re putting out the fire.”

Why workplaces buy this course
- No mess, no risk, no downtime – training happens in VR, not on your factory floor.
- No wasted raw materials – you don’t burn through expensive extinguisher contents, foam, or disposable training props. Every session is virtual, so nothing gets consumed.
- Real decision‑making under pressure – they learn to stay calm and act correctly when it counts.
- Skills transfer instantly – what they master in VR works immediately on real extinguishers.
- Avoid costly mistakes – they learn why using water or foam on an electrical fire can be deadly.
- Completely safe – all the “wrong choices” happen in VR, so real accidents never do.

What your team will learn
By the end of the course, your employees will be able to:
- Identify all four extinguisher types – water, foam, CO₂, and dry powder – by colour code, name, and which fires they are safe (and unsafe) to use on.
- Run the full emergency procedure – from sounding the alarm to safe suppression. These skills transfer directly to your physical workplace.
- Make fast, correct decisions – under time pressure, choosing the right extinguisher for a bin fire versus an electrical fire, understanding the serious risks of getting it wrong.
- Handle an extinguisher safely – remove the pin, stand at the correct distance, aim properly, and suppress the fire effectively.
Course Aims & Objectives
Your team learns the four main extinguisher types, their colour codes, what each is for, and – critically – what each should never be used on.
They follow the full response sequence: raise the alarm, pick the correct extinguisher, remove the pin, aim, and suppress. All in a safe VR environment.
Two common workplace fires: a bin fire and an overloaded electrical socket. They practice in situations that feel real enough to trigger an adrenaline response – so they’re ready for the real thing.
Trainees must correctly identify the fire type and select the appropriate extinguisher. If they make a mistake, the simulation provides corrective feedback and demonstrates the safe, proper procedure – reinforcing the right choice without exposing anyone to danger.
Traditional fire-extinguisher training uses foam, CO₂ cartridges, and disposable props. VR eliminates that cost and environmental impact entirely.
No polymer consumed. No tooling damaged. No machine downtime. Just faster, safer, better‑trained teams.
